The Deer Haven home is located on the 17th Hole of the Woods Golf Course Resort and has a beautiful view of trees and the expansive golf course. All the resort amenities: indoor pool, racquetball court, fitness center, and more are a short drive away. Several hiking trails and lakes for fishing are all close by. Summary: Myself and a few friends stayed here for an extended weekend and had a great time. The entire house was clean and updated. The movie / gaming room was like a bonus. My friends and I used the elevated deck around back to sit and hangout at night while projecting football onto the side of the house. We had my dog with us and he loved all the open area as well and watching the golfers from the big windows in the living room. We were able to cook dinners each night with all the supplied pots and pans. Host was extremely helpful with instructions for getting in and out of the house and even with what light switches control what (there were a lot of switches and remotes!). Perfect for those who like being in nature but don’t want to be deep in the woods.
